India has formally proposed to co-produce the advanced Javelin Anti-Tank Guided Missiles with the United States, aiming to boost its defence self-reliance under the 'Make in India' initiative. This move follows a Letter of Request sent by India, seeking joint manufacturing of the battlefield-proven missile system that played a critical role in the Russia-Ukraine war.
