Atul Auto has released its sales figures for March 2025, showing impressive growth in several segments. The company's domestic and export sales data reveal a robust performance, especially in the electric vehicle (EV) category, indicating a shift towards sustainable mobility solutions.

Domestic Sales Performance

In March 2025, Atul Auto recorded total domestic sales of 3,391 units, reflecting a 17.50% growth compared to 2,886 units in March 2024. The major highlights of the domestic sales are:

  • 3W - IC Engine: Sales surged by 34.26%, increasing from 2,017 units in March 2024 to 2,708 units in March 2025.
  • EV - L3: A decline of 42.94% was observed, with sales dropping from 829 units in March 2024 to 473 units in March 2025.
  • EV - L5: This category showed an extraordinary growth of 425%, jumping from 40 units in March 2024 to 210 units in March 2025.

Year-to-date (YTD) figures also indicate strong performance, with total domestic sales reaching 30,776 units, marking a 29.32% growth over the previous year's 23,798 units.

Domestic + Export Sales Performance

Atul Auto's total sales, including exports, stood at 3,693 units in March 2025, reflecting an 18.06% increase from 3,128 units in March 2024. Key segment-wise insights include:

  • 3W - IC Engine: Recorded a 32.36% growth, reaching 2,990 units from 2,259 units in March 2024.
  • EV - L3: Similar to the domestic segment, EV-L3 sales declined by 42.94%, dropping from 829 units to 473 units.
  • EV - L5: Displayed an impressive 475% growth, increasing from 40 units to 230 units in March 2025.

On a YTD basis, total sales (including exports) stood at 34,012 units, registering a 30.62% growth compared to 26,039 units in the previous year.

Noteworthy Observations

  1. Strong Growth in IC Engine Vehicles: The three-wheeler IC engine segment continues to be the backbone of Atul Auto’s business, with substantial growth in both domestic and export markets.
  2. Electric L5 Segment on the Rise: The L5 electric vehicle category has experienced remarkable growth, indicating increased adoption and demand for electric three-wheelers.
  3. Decline in EV-L3 Sales: Despite the overall growth in EVs, the L3 segment has faced a significant dip, which could be attributed to market dynamics or shifting consumer preferences.
  4. Subsidiary Performance: The sales figures also include the contribution of Atul Greentech Private Limited, which accounted for 234 vehicles in March 2025.

Atul Auto's strong performance in March 2025 reaffirms its position in the three-wheeler market. The impressive rise in IC engine and EV-L5 sales suggests that the company is well-positioned for future growth, particularly in the electric mobility space. Moving forward, it will be crucial to see how Atul Auto addresses the decline in EV-L3 sales while capitalizing on the surging demand for its electric L5 vehicles.
