It is capable of high-altitude warfare and is equipped with advanced avionics, weapons systems, and stealth features. The helicopter is designed to operate in extreme weather conditions, making it a crucial asset for the Indian Armed Forces.

HAL's Commitment to Indigenous Manufacturing

Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL), a state-owned aerospace and defense company, continues to be at the forefront of India's defense sector. The LCH Prachand has been developed after extensive research and testing, ensuring its compatibility with the specific operational requirements of the Indian Army and Air Force.

The signing of this Rs. 62,700 crore deal for the supply of 156 LCH Prachand helicopters is a monumental achievement for HAL and India's defense sector. This contract will not only enhance India’s military strength but also provide a significant boost to the indigenous aerospace industry.
