Hyundai Motor India Reports Robust Sales in February 2025 with 58,727 Units Sold

Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) has once again demonstrated its strong market presence by achieving a total sales figure of 58,727 units in February 2025. The company reported domestic sales of 47,727 units and export sales of 11,000 units, marking a steady demand for Hyundai vehicles both in India and internationally.

Strong Export Performance with 6.8% YoY Growth

HMIL's export numbers continue to show resilience, recording a 6.8% year-on-year (YoY) growth in February 2025. This growth highlights the increasing global acceptance of Hyundai's "Made-in-India" vehicles, reinforcing the brand’s position in the global automobile industry.

Commenting on the achievement, Mr. Tarun Garg, Whole-time Director and Chief Operating Officer of Hyundai Motor India Limited, emphasized the company's commitment to expanding exports. He stated that Hyundai’s export strategy will further strengthen India’s position as a key export hub for Hyundai Motor Company.

Domestic Sales Remain Strong Amid Economic Challenges

Despite geopolitical uncertainties and market fluctuations, Hyundai remains optimistic about domestic sales. The company anticipates that the proposed tax reforms in the Union Budget 2025 and improved liquidity conditions will boost consumer demand in the coming months.

Hyundai’s Market Strategy and Future Outlook

Hyundai Motor India is focused on maintaining its leadership position in the Indian automotive market. By optimizing its production, increasing exports, and introducing new models, Hyundai aims to cater to evolving customer demands and enhance its global presence.

With the Indian automobile industry showing signs of growth, Hyundai’s consistent sales performance underscores its strong brand appeal and customer trust. The coming months will be crucial in determining how the company capitalizes on policy changes and market dynamics to sustain this momentum.
