Suzlon Energy Ltd reported a sharp rise in revenue and profitability for the quarter ended March 31, 2026, driven by strong growth in its wind turbine generator business and improved operational performance.

The company posted total income of ₹5,520.65 crore in Q4 FY26, compared to ₹3,852.19 crore in the same quarter last year. Revenue from operations came in at ₹5,468.06 crore, marking a significant increase from ₹3,773.54 crore in Q4 FY25.

Suzlon’s net profit after tax surged to ₹1,114.35 crore during the March 2026 quarter, nearly doubling from ₹1,180.98 crore reported in the corresponding period last year. Sequentially, profit also rose sharply from ₹445.28 crore recorded in Q3 FY26.

Profit before tax for the quarter stood at ₹833.24 crore, compared to ₹551.24 crore in Q4 FY25 and ₹566.75 crore in the December 2025 quarter.

For the full financial year FY26, Suzlon reported total income of ₹16,841.78 crore, up significantly from ₹10,993.13 crore in FY25. Revenue from operations for the year increased to ₹16,679.11 crore from ₹10,851.32 crore in the previous fiscal year.

Annual net profit after tax jumped to ₹3,163.39 crore in FY26, compared to ₹2,071.63 crore in FY25, reflecting strong execution and growing demand in the renewable energy sector.

The company’s total expenses during Q4 FY26 stood at ₹4,757.41 crore, compared to ₹3,273.95 crore in the year-ago quarter. Raw material consumption and services rendered expenses increased to ₹3,525.97 crore due to higher business activity.

Finance costs during the quarter declined to ₹135.16 crore from ₹84.72 crore in Q4 FY25, while depreciation and amortisation expenses stood at ₹92.98 crore.

Segment-wise, the Wind Turbine Generator business remained the largest contributor to revenue. The segment generated ₹4,741.71 crore in Q4 FY26, compared to ₹3,114.74 crore in the same quarter last year.

The Operation and Maintenance Services segment reported revenue of ₹695.17 crore, while the Foundry and Forging segment contributed ₹167.78 crore during the quarter.

In terms of segment profitability, the Wind Turbine Generator business delivered segment profit of ₹594.46 crore in Q4 FY26, compared to ₹418.37 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous year.

Suzlon’s total assets increased significantly to ₹18,868.86 crore as of March 31, 2026, compared to ₹12,959.59 crore a year earlier, reflecting expansion in operations and business growth.

Total liabilities stood at ₹9,405.34 crore at the end of FY26, compared to ₹6,853.87 crore in FY25.

The company also reported total comprehensive income of ₹1,119.12 crore for Q4 FY26, compared to ₹1,158.44 crore in the year-ago quarter.

Earnings per share for FY26 increased to ₹2.31 from ₹1.52 in FY25, highlighting improved shareholder returns amid strong renewable energy demand and execution momentum.

Suzlon’s performance comes at a time when India’s renewable energy sector continues to witness strong policy support, increasing wind energy installations, and rising clean energy investments across the country.
