Commercial Vehicles:
The commercial vehicle (CV) segment faced an 8% YoY drop, with total sales at 27,221 units in April 2025, down from 29,538 units last year.
- HCV Trucks: 7,270 units vs 7,875 in April 2024, an 8% drop
- ILCV Trucks: 4,680 units vs 4,316, a rise of 8%
- Passenger Carriers: 4,683 units vs 4,502, an increase of 4%
- SCV Cargo and Pickup: 9,131 units vs 11,823, a sharp 23% fall

- CV International Business: 1,457 units, up 43%
MH&ICV segment (Medium, Heavy, and Intermediate CVs) also saw a dip. Domestic sales were at 12,093 units, slightly down from 12,722 units last April. Combined domestic and international MH&ICV sales stood at 12,760 units, compared to 13,218 units last year.
Passenger Vehicles:
The PV segment recorded total sales of 45,532 units in April 2025, a 5% decline from 47,983 units a year ago.
- Domestic PV sales (including EV): 45,199 units vs 47,883, down 6%
- PV International Business: 333 units vs 100, showing strong growth of 233%
- Electric Vehicles (Domestic + IB): 5,318 units vs 6,364 units, a 16% drop
