Russian President Vladimir Putin met with Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan in Moscow during a high-level diplomatic engagement aimed at strengthening ties between Russia and Turkiye. Welcoming the Turkish Foreign Minister, President Putin expressed his pleasure at seeing Hakan Fidan in Russia and acknowledged the productive meetings he had already conducted in Moscow. Putin asked Hakan Fidan to convey his best wishes to President Erdogan and reiterated that Russia always looks forward to welcoming the Turkish leader to the country.

Putin highlighted the importance of maintaining close communication between Moscow and Ankara, especially at a time when numerous regional and international challenges are shaping the global geopolitical landscape.
