Operation Sindoor: A Global Wave of Support for India’s Fight Against Terrorism

In the aftermath of Operation Sindoor and the terrorist attack in Pahalgam on April 22, a strong wave of international support has emerged in favor of India. Several countries and leaders have openly condemned the act of terror and affirmed India’s right to defend itself against such threats.

The United Kingdom was among the first to speak out. The UK Foreign Minister declared that India is right to feel outrage at the attack and urged Pakistan to take stronger action against terrorism within its borders. UK MP Rishi Sunak echoed this sentiment, stating that no nation should have to accept terrorist attacks being launched against it. MP Priti Patel went a step further, affirming India's right to take reasonable measures to dismantle the terrorist infrastructure threatening its security.

France also conveyed strong solidarity. The French Foreign Minister expressed an understanding of India’s need to protect itself from terrorism. The French Foreign Office condemned the Pahalgam terrorist attack and reaffirmed France’s full support for India in its fight against terror groups.

Israel expressed unequivocal support. The Israeli Ambassador to India stated that Israel stands by India’s right to self-defence and warned that terrorists should know there is no safe haven for their crimes against innocents.

From the Netherlands, MP Geert Wilders voiced his support via social media, declaring that Kashmir is "100% Indian" and using the hashtag #PakistanBehindPahalgam to emphasize his stance.

In the United States, Congressman Shri Thanedar expressed that terrorism must not be tolerated or go unpunished. He strongly supported India’s right to defend its people and endorsed efforts to dismantle extremist networks.

Panama, currently a non-permanent member of the UN Security Council, also extended its support. Its Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that the Republic of Panama stands with India in this tragic loss and in its ongoing battle against terrorism.
