
Wipro Limited (NSE: WIPRO, BSE: 507685, NYSE: WIT), one of India’s leading global information technology and consulting companies, announced its consolidated financial results for the fourth quarter and the fiscal year ending March 31, 2025. The results highlight Wipro’s steady operational execution and significant improvement in profitability, despite global headwinds in the tech services industry.
The fourth quarter of FY25 proved to be particularly strong for Wipro. The company posted a net profit of ₹3,588 crore for the quarter, representing a 25.5% jump from ₹2,858 crore in Q4 FY24. Profit before tax for the quarter increased to ₹4,743 crore from ₹3,862 crore. Revenue from operations during Q4 stood at ₹22,504 crore, up from ₹22,208 crore in the same period last year. Including other income, total income for the quarter reached ₹23,693 crore. Basic earnings per share for Q4 FY25 was ₹3.41, compared to ₹2.71 in Q4 FY24.
Wipro’s IT Services segment continued to be the primary revenue driver, contributing ₹88,822 crore during the year. The segment’s performance across geographies was led by Americas 1 with ₹28,382 crore, followed by Americas 2 at ₹27,197 crore, Europe at ₹24,007 crore, and APMEA (Asia Pacific, Middle East, and Africa) with ₹9,435 crore. The IT Services segment recorded a profit of ₹15,164 crore for FY25.
In its Q4 results for FY25, Wipro has declared an interim dividend of Rs 6 per share,It Will be considered as the final dividend for the financial year 2024-25.
For the upcoming quarter, Wipro has provided a revenue guidance for its IT Services business segment. The company expects revenue to be in the range of $2,505 million to $2,557 million, which translates to a sequential guidance of -3.5% to -1.5% in constant currency terms. This reflects Wipro's cautious outlook amidst ongoing market conditions.
The company also maintained a healthy financial position, generating ₹13,155 crore from operating activities and closing the year with ₹4,307 crore in cash and cash equivalents.
For the full financial year FY25, Wipro reported a net profit of ₹13,218 crore, a 19% increase from ₹11,112 crore in FY24. This growth came even as total revenue from operations saw a marginal dip, standing at ₹89,088 crore compared to ₹89,760 crore in the previous year. Profit before tax rose sharply to ₹17,495 crore from ₹14,721 crore, and total comprehensive income for the year stood at ₹13,633 crore, up from ₹11,818 crore last year. Basic earnings per share for FY25 came in at ₹12.56, compared to ₹10.44 in FY24.
Commenting on the results, Chairman Rishad A. Premji said the company’s disciplined execution and strategic investments are delivering results, and Wipro remains confident in its long-term growth prospects globally.
